If you are looking for a great family event this summer then you should check out Coed Helen’s Help for Heroes Big Charity Event and Fun Day this August.
Coed Helen Holiday Park in Caernarfon is a top holiday park in North Wales, known for its stunning panoramic views of the Menai Strait and rolling countryside, it’s gorgeous holiday homes and excellent facilities, including outdoor heated pool, sun terrace and onsite restaurant and pub. Now the park is also hosting one of the best family events of the summer season and raising money for a very worthy cause.
The Big Charity Event and Fun Day will take place on Saturday 15th August and will raise money for two very important charities: Help For Heroes and High Ground Roots To Recovery.
The event promises to be a day of fun and excitement with a host of great activities for children and adults alike. The army will be visiting Coed Helen Holiday Park Caernarfon and bringing an assault course with them! This will include a climbing frame, rifle range and lots more so you can put yourself to the test and have great fun too.
If you fancy a slightly more relaxing entertainment then you are also in luck because there will be plenty of other great activities and attractions, including vintage trucks, a steam train giving trips around the park and a tombola stand with tonnes of great prizes.
You are also invited to join Coed Helen at Paddy’s, their wonderful onsite bar, for the charity raffle. There are great prizes to be won.
Not only will this be a super family event for the summer but it works to support two charities that do their utmost to support those who have served in the army forces.
Help For Heroes works tirelessly to offer help to those who have been wounded in military service and their families, including those who have experienced life changing injuries in war.
High Ground – Roots to Recovery provides advice towards employment and civilian life after service and offers a Horticultural Therapy Service for patients at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre. It helps those who have served in the armed forces convert their essential skills to helping find them employment in the land based sector.
Join Coed Helen on Saturday 15th August for the Fun Day. Address: Coed Helen, Menai Strait, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL54 5RS or contact them on 01286 672852 for more information.
