September the 3rd is going to be a special day for the popular seaside town of Llandudno – especially so for those that wish to participate in the fantastic Lightwing Parade which is set to be the highlight of the weekend. Whether you’re a bike enthusiast or not, it appears the whole town is gearing up for the arrival of the Honda Goldwing community and their stunning pieces of machinery. The entire event seems like it’ll be a lot of fun, and there are a variety of options for accommodation in seafront hotels in Llandudno – so why not come and have an excellent time amongst sun, sea, sky, man and machine!
The event will begin on Saturday the 3rd of September, 2016, and will be a static display on Llandudno’s wonderful promenade throughout the daytime. We’re certain that the sun will shine down on Llandudno’s wonderfully clean beach and these wonderful testaments of mankind’s enduring fascination with machinery.
The Honda Goldwing is an iconic touring motorcycle, and to see the streets lined with a vast number of them will certainly be a spectacle. The history of the Goldwing is vast, and they have been in manufacture by Honda following a roaring introduction in 1974 – benefiting from advances made in motor technology to truly become iconic.
After you’re done for the day, the Cae Mor Hotel in Llandudno offers reasonably priced yet excellent accommodation on Llandudno’s Seafront. Wonderfully positioned right next to Vanue Cymru, the Cae Mor benefits all that stay thanks to it’s position away from all of the excitement, yet proximity close enough so that you don’t have to walk and walk in order to rejoin the fun the next day.
Llandudno in itself is full of attractions to entice all kinds of visitor – whether you would like to spend a day shopping in it’s two shopping parks, take a walk up it’s historic Victorian streets (absolutely not rebuilt – very much the originals!) Take some time with your children to enjoy the Alice Trail, explore the iconic Pier or even stay on the beach and soak up the sun, Llandudno’s got everything you need for an excellent post-bank holiday weekend, and the Cae Mor Hotel is situated perfectly to deliver it all to you and your friends or family.
