Local construction and civil engineering firm Brenig Construction have taken the main prize at the Conwy Business Awards earlier this month.
Since the Brenig company was first set up it has been going from strength to strength as clear rising stars of the construction industry.
As a new company they had already won the Daily Post Business Achievement Award for Best New Start Up Business back in 2013.
Brenig Construction have won the contracts for a wide range of major local projects, including recent achievements like the new Rhyl Green Space. They have repeatedly worked alongside industry giant such as Willmott Dixon, K & C, Barhale and many more who have praised Brenig’s work time and again. The company is now busier than ever with several large scale projects on the go, including work with Balfour Beatty on the Burbobank Substation and the framework contract for the Carillion Telent BT Open Reach Network project across North East Wales and Cheshire over the next two years.
The company’s hard work and innovation has been recognised once again at the Conwy Business Awards ceremony on the 8th May at Llandudno’s Venue Cymru where they were awarded the main prize as Business of the Year 2015.
It was a great night for Brenig and all the staff are thrilled with the results. Construction Director Howard Vaughan commented on the win of this prestigious award –
“We are extremely proud to have won this award and it is a huge pat on the back to every member of our team across the whole business. In the 3 years of trading we have grown to a business that in 2015-16 has secured £10m of contracts across the North Wales area and employing in excess of 50 people across the business.”
Brenig were up against a variety of other companies from different sectors so this award is a huge achievement. Congratulations to Brenig Construction, Business of the Year 2015!
