Llandudno’s gorgeous seafront offers sweeping views along a pebbled beach, looking towards the Ormes on either side of Llandudno Bay. The promenade runs typically parallel, and makes for a gorgeous scenic cruise. (In fact, its beauty is so far-famed, it plays host to the Wales GP once a year). Along this promenade you will find the Venue Cymru (Welsh Theatre), which is North Wales’ premierIMG_0068e theatre and live music venue. The venue has attracted the likes of popular bands Blur, and The Waterboys in the past, with an upcoming The Specials show, and is a favourite spot for theatre tours to visit on their round country trips.

Enter the Cae Mor Hotel. Placed adjacently to the Venue it is the ideal place to stay for people hoping to catch a show or two during their stay. Those who are hoping for the chance to walk along the shoreline, and perhaps make a trip atop the Great Orme are also in luck as this is also superbly placed for these purposes. You can take advantage of the Orme’s tram and cable car amenities if you aren’t up for the brisk walk up the steep incline (and those who are can enjoy the mission!).

Cae mor boasts a fair amount of seafront rooms which large windows afford the most magnificent scenic views of the aforementioned ocean distances.

IMG_0041 (1)These are the real treasure here, the superior and deluxe rooms are decorated to inspire a serene peace during your stay in Llandudno, furnished to perfection. I’m sure that after a long weekend in one of these gorgeous suites, you won’t want to leave.

The Cae mor’s afternoon tea gatherings always get a good collection of people in the lounge for some pleasant chat (and some even more pleasant cake and tea).

Llandudno’s seafront is a very unique place in this world, the area has so much to offer, Cae Mor is the perfect base to plan your adventures around town or further into the Welsh Countryside.IMG_0001
