Snowdonia Nurseries and Garden Centre provides the perfect festive atmosphere to kick start your celebrations this year. The family owned business tucked away in Glan Conwy has been established since 1994 and attract thousands of locals and tourists to the centre each year as the Garden Centre turns into a grotto worthy of Father Christmas himself.
A Grotto Experience to Remember
Children and adults will love exploring traditional Christmas themes in Santa’s Grotto with an impressive LED light display of Christmas themed decorations guaranteed to capture the imaginations of younger visitors. Father Christmas and Mrs Christmas will be at the garden centre every Saturday leading up to Christmas with Father Christmas’ reindeer making an appearance the 15th and 22nd December. It is festive tradition that the money raised from the grotto experience goes directly to Ty- Gobiath Children’s Hospice which is the local branch of the Hope House Children’s Charity. Snowdonia Nurseries have raised an impressive £56,000 for the cause and will continue to do so in the future.

The Olive Tree Coffee Shop gives visitors a chance to relax with a hot drink whilst they soak up the festive atmosphere. If you have a sweet tooth the coffee shop also sells a range of cakes and if you are after something more satisfying there is a delicious range of food available to order on the lunch menu
The Only Poinsetta Plants Grown in Wales
Snowdonia Nurseries pride and glory during the winter months is the festive Poinsettias plant which is the only place in the whole of Wales which grows the rare plant. The garden centre comes alive in the winter months with red poinsettias and cyclamen plants combined with eye catching LED lights and Christmas decorations. Why not take a poinsettia plant home with you this Christmas? It is guaranteed to be a conversation starter over Christmas dinner!
