llandudnoLlandudno was recently voted the 3rd best destination in the UK based on ratings that have been put on Trip advisor. It was beaten by London and Edinburgh, and it’s hard to see why as Llandudno has it all; the bustling city centre, the picture-esque Victorian sea front and it’s just a stone’s throw away from the hills of Snowdonia.

There are many things to do in Llandudno that it’s difficult to choose what to do. From taking a dip in Llandudno’s swimming pool to taking the cable car to the top of Llandudno’s stunning Great Orme. There is also always an exciting show on at Venue Cymru the theatre, with facilities to accommodate business conferences to award ceremonies. In addition, their main stage plays host to a wide variety of shows and their most notable is the annual pantomime. Go shopping on Mostyn Street and take a look around the great selection of shops, with a mix of high street and independent shops and stop of at one of the cafes or restaurants for a bite eat. Parking isn’t a hassle with a multi storey carpark a small walk away from Mostyn Street, which offers ample parking for just a small fee.

If seeing some wildlife is your thing visit Bodafon Farm which has a variety of animals such as grey-faced Dartmoor rams and Red Dear. Take a walk along the farm trail and after your walk you can enjoy a meal at the Cartwheel Cafe with a unique courtyard which features a bbq.

There is also a great Golf Club which boasts an 18-hole course with well-maintained parkland and links. This is a great course for amateur golfers, but if you want to have a go at golf there is also a smaller course on the Great Orme, which is perfect for families and it boasts some impressive sights from the top of the Great Orme.

As you can tell there is a great variety of things to do in Llandudno, so go and visit the 3rd best destination in Britain.
