Whitby Heath is a vibrant and caring community where we believe in learning to learn for life; where every child has a right to aim high and reach their potential. Our school community is also one where tolerance of and respect for each other’s uniqueness is highly valued, and politeness and consideration towards each other is encouraged and expected.

As you explore our site you will learn about all those who are part of our community -staff, governors, parents and most importantly, the children. You will be able to discover the many different ways our children are actively involved in the life and decisions of our school, including the School Council, the Head Girl and Boy, the Junior Road Safety Officers and the Recycling Officers. Even this web site has had many of its pages designed by our children.

The school offers a range of activities and clubs, both during the school day and after school. These cater for budding musicians, with guitar and recorder clubs as well as a choir. There is also a drama club, cookery club, and a wide range of sports clubs from tag rugby to short tennis! We are also pleased to be able to provide facilities for a privately run ‘before and after’ school club, and a holiday club which is used by many of our families.
