Prestatyn’s Carnival Day will see a Grand Parade, along with a whole host of entertainment, including a giant fun fair, charity stalls, trade stands bouncy castles, donkey rides, classic cars, refreshments, competitions and much more.

The carnival begins with a Grand Parade which leaves from the top of Prestatyn High Street at 12 noon, taking a route that travels down the Prestatyn High Street, heading right to make its way to the railway bridge, bearing right off the bridge before it turns left into Bastion Road. The parade continues through the traffic lights, heading straight down Bastion Road, passing the Fun Fair on the right hand side, where it turns right to the Beach Road East. The last turn sees the parade head right into the Beach Close, which will take the parade to the Carnival Field.

Anyone is able to take part in the Carnival Parade completely free of charge. The competitions require a small charge, which can be seen on the Prestatyn Carnival website.

The carnival field is situated opposite Bastion Road and Beach Road East (between Pontins Holiday Village and Lido Beach Caravan Park), close to Prestatyn’s Nova Centre. Carnival day will see the field open from 10am and is conveniently accessible by foot. Field entry is free to everyone and on site parking is available for the charge of £1 per vehicle. The carnival is supported by four large arenas and a huge marquee that will ensure the programme of events, entertainment and competitions is a fantastic day out this summer – perfect for the whole family.
