Colwyn Bay Prom Day 2013 – or Prom Xtra will stretch over 2 miles of beach and promenade making it the biggest event to date! The fun starts at Glan y Mor Road, (the Old Colwyn slip road to the A55), and stretches the entire prom right up to Marine Road (by The Toad).

From the Old Colwyn side, you will enter the outdoor zone filled with lots of top attractions and funfair rides to get your heart pumping. This area also includes the Top Gear Experience, which includes a free simulator to test drive a Bugatti Veyron or Caterham around a Top Gear track.

The brand new Porth Eirias and new beach is set to open, with plenty of fun going on in and around the new establishment  At 10:30, 12:00, 1:30 and 3:45 you will be able to see some free rubbers performing jaw dropping jumps and stunts that they’ve put together just for the Prom Xtrta.

Between Porth Eirias and the Pier is a much loved funfair, one of the most colorful and nosiest parts of the event, with fairground rides for people of all ages. Past the pier is the shopping zone, where there is absolutely loads going on. Markets to browse, stalls, charities and plenty of exhibits from local businesses are all going to be in place.
