The many fantastic events coming up in North Wales say otherwise. Wherever you turn and whatever age you are, there’s something on the menu to take you fancy. With only 5 Mondays left until Christmas, you could guess that there’s going to be a lot of yuletide to get involved with.
With a huge amount of thrilling days out and interesting evenings inside, here are just a few of our selections to look out for until the end of November.
Llandudno Christmas Fayre – 23/11/2014, 24/11/2014 & 25/11/12014
There may be other Christmas markets on in North Wales and we’ve experienced plenty of them but for our money, Llandudno’s Christmas Fayre is hard to beat.
Taking place at a slightly earlier time this year, the fayre will still come with all the charming market stalls within a Dickensian atmosphere on Llandudno’s Madoc Street. If you needed any more convincing, did we also mention that there will be a Santa’s Grotto?
Rhyl Christmas Lights – 27/11/2014
Forgive us if you’re not quite ready to accept that Christmas is coming! Even the biggest Grinch will be enamoured by the turning on of the lights in the seaside town of Rhyl this 27th of November.
Turn up between 3.30 and 6.30 on the day to witness The X Factor winner Sam Bailey do the honous and illuminate the town with Christmas joy. If that sentence doesn’t imbue with the spirit, we don’t know what will.
Llangollen Comedy Club – 28/11/2014
How about something light-hearted to counteract the Christmas hoopla? Llangollen Pavilion is the venue for a host of hilarious comedy talent on the 28th of November, including the likes of Tom Wrigglesworth, Peter Brush and host Kiri Pritchard-McLean.
With no shows until January after this event, be sure to catch this month’s edition and the special guests who might surprise one or two!
Price: £9 per ticket.

Cariad Ink Tattoo Festival – 29/11/2014 & 30/11/2014
We are big fans of Cariad Ink here at NorthWales.com and helped to bring it into the spotlight with our coverage of it from 2013. After such a successful weekend last time out, the organisers will be looking to go even bigger!
Whether you’re a tattoo lover or simply interested in the subculture and want to experience it first-hand, this family-friendly event at Venue Cymru is perfect for you.
Price: Saturday – £15, Sunday – £10
